Learning for a Future between Tradition and Trend

 

  German group visited Avola/Italy Kultureller Austausch ist horizonterweiternd. Zusammen mit Frau Hackstein und Frau Meurer begab sich unsere Schüler:innengruppe auf eine Bildungsreise, welche die Teilnehmer:innen so schnell nicht mehr vergessen werden: An weit mehr als Kultur und Museen, gemeinsames Singen im Chor oder neue Freundschaften schließen erinnern sich die Schüler:innen aus den Klassenstufen 9 und Q1. Über die besondersten Erlebnisse, die schönsten Momente aber auch über die kniffligen Situationen wird im folgenden berichtet. Ob die Schüler:innen sich zurecht fanden, das italienische Eis wirklich so gut schmeckt oder sie mit ihrem Italienisch nach so vielen Pizzen am Ende waren? “Cabin crew, prepare for landing.” Ein Scheppern, ein Ruckeln, ein Aufsetzen.   Eine Schülergruppe des Erasmus-von-Rotterdam-Gymnasiums Viersen besuchte gemeinsam mit ihren Lehrern Frau Schmitz und Herrn Wolters im Rahmen des Austauschprojektes „ErasmusPlus“ die Alonso-Sánchez Schule in Huelva/Spanien. An dem Austauschprojekt, dass unter dem Motto „learning for a future between tradition and trend“ seit 2021 durchgeführt wird, nehmen neben deutschen und spanischen auch Schülerinnen und Schüler aus Italien und Lettland teil. Im November letzten Jahres trafen sich die Teams aus allen vier Staaten in Viersen. Im Frühjahr wurde das Projekt im sizilianischen Avola fortgeführt und nach dem jüngsten Besuch in Spanien folgt nun noch im kommenden Jahr das Abschlusstreffen in Cesis/Lettland. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler sind bei ihren Auslandsbesuchen in Gastfamilien untergebracht.  La semana del 7 al 11 de noviembre visitaron el IES Alonso Sánchez, de la capital, profesorado y alumnado de Alemania, Italia y Letonia en el marco de un proyecto Erasmus+ titulado “Learning for a future-between tradition and trend”, de una duración de tres años y coordinado por un centro de secundaria de Viersen (Alemania). En total han sido 6 profesores y 24 alumnos extranjeros, que se han alojado con las familias del alumnado onubense, y durante su estancia han sido recibidos por representantes de la Diputación de Huelva y de la Delegación de Educación, y han realizado diferentes talleres y excursiones que los han aproximado a las tradiciones españolas, incluyendo un tour guiado por la ciudad de Huelva, una visita al muelle de las Carabelas y otra a las Marismas del Odiel, entre otras.   Report for the mobility in Viersen, Germany in Nov. 2021   Monday, 8th November In the morning the international students were welcomed by the headmaster and presented with the programme for the week as well as the ongoing photo project for the week. After that, they were group were instructed by local students from "Hilfsbereit", the EvR student club that helps others students with social problems, how to play some team building games and activities. After that, students did a rally around Viersen with the help of the app Biparcours to get to know their host city. In the afternoon the reception by the mayor of Viersen took place at the town hall, at which students and teachers from the school's orchestra played.
